This is a making of about one of my sketch artwork. I realized it only with Painter.
First I decided the color of my canvas.
Then, I created the silhouette of the characters.
used an acrylic brush to delineate the features of the two men.
Then I used acrilic brush, oil brush and blender to color them.
The color of canvas is important in order to decide the palette chromatic.
I kept delineating the features with acrilic, oil and blender paint-brushes

And this is the final effect.


1) I started with a pencil sketch
1) Ho iniziato con uno schizzo a matita
2) After putting the sketch on “Painter” I’ve created a new ink layer.
2) Ho importato lo schizzo in Painter e ho creto un nuovo livello su cui ho tracciato i contorni.
3) I start to color the image in a new layer under the ink layer.
3) Inizio a colorare su un nuovo livello inferiore a quello usato per gli inchiostri.

4) At the end I deleted the ink layer. 4) Alla fine cancello il livello inchiostro.
5) I made the ultimate touch up of colors. 5) Creo gli ultimi ritocchi al colore.
